RIHA – On the 173^rd day of efforts to liberate Kobanê, women led the border greeting to the heroes of the Kobanê resistance today, in honor of the upcoming Women's Day holiday.

Women began to pour into Suruç early this morning. They will hold a regional rally of thousands along the line between Suruç and Kobanê to celebrate March 8, International Women's Day. Today, they greeted the YPG/YPJ fighters by holding hands and forming a human chain in the village of Miseynter, along the border. They faced Kobanê and chanted slogans of solidarity.

In Mehser Village, the colorful regional clothes of hundreds of women enlivened the village, where women sent their greetings to the YPJ fighters who have become the symbols of the Kobanê resistance.
