ISTANBUL- Kurdish politician Sara Aktaş, member of the Free Women’s Congress (KJA) shut down by KHK (statutory decree), was taken into custody at Istanbul’s Atatürk Airport.
Kurdish politician Sara Aktaş, member of the Free Women’s Congress (KJA) shut down by KHK (statutory decree), was taken into custody at Istanbul’s Atatürk Airport. Sara, who is being put on trial as part of the KCK (Kurdistan Communities Union), was released from prison in 2013 as part of a long detention period and took part in the KJA and DBP (Democratic Regions Party) administrations.
The detention of the KJA member Sara was targeted by mainstream media and served as, “The KCK’s Turkey executive Sara Aktaş arrested”.
