YPJ fighters Koçerê and Elif brought to Suruç

RIHA – Two YPJ fighters who lost their life in the operations to liberate Kobanê's countryside, KoçerêAkay and Elifİlbaş, were brought across the border to Urfa (Riha) province today ahead of their funeral.
Koçerê Akay (nom de Guerra HêvîJiyan) and Elif İlbaş (Silav Faraşin) passed away in Kobanê countryside operations against occupying Daesh gang members. Today, at the Mürşitpınar Border Gate, their families and members of the association MEYA-DER, which provides support and solidarity to the families of those lost in war in Mesopotamia, received their bodies from Kobanê canton officials. Hundreds of people came to greet the fallen fighters with Kurdish slogans "martyrs never die," "long live the YPG resistance" and "long live President Apo."
Koçerê and Elif's bodies have been taken to the Urfa Forensic Medicine Institute for autopsies. They will be taken to Batman (Êlih in Kurdish) to be laid to rest.
