AMÛDE -Women have erected a memorial to Kurdish womenin the city square of Amûde. The unveiling is planned for March 8, International Women's Day.

As celebrations and activities for March 8, International Women's Day, continue in all parts of Kurdistan, women erected the Kurdish Women's Memorial at the city square of the city of Amûdein Rojava, Western Kurdistan. The Kurdish Woman Memorial was built to honor the resistance of Kurdish women, especiallyYPJ women.

Thousands of women and YPJ fighters are expected to take part in the unveiling ceremony.
