ANKARA - Five new prisoners have been transferred to İmralı Island Prison, where PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan is being held, reportedly aiding the jailed leader with secretarial work.

The political prisoners ŞeyhmuzPoyraz, BayramKaymaz, CumaliKarsu, HasbiÖzdemir and HakkıAlpanhave been transferred to Tekirdağ F-Type andKocaeli F-Type Prison.

Meanwhile, the five prisoners Mehmet SaitYıldırım, ÖmerHayriKonar, ÇetinArkaş, NasrullahKuran and VeysiAktaşhave been transferredto the island prison. Prison administrations have informed their families about the transfer.

The five prisoners will help the Kurdish leader with his work and undertake secretarial duties.

 The prisoners are on their way to İmralı now.
