MERSIN - Bodies of two women shot to death were found on Adana-Mersin highway today.

The dead bodies of the two women were noticed by truck driver Selam Savun, who was on the way from Mersin to Hatay, near the Karahisalı toll bar on the Adana-Mersin highway early in the morning.

The police units that came to the scene, after conducting an initial examination, said that one of the women had been shot in the head and the other in the chest and leg.

Although the women were found without identification, their bodies have been taken to Adana Forensic Medicine Institution for autopsy.
