ŞIRNEX- DayîkênŞemiyê (Saturday Mothers) activists demanded to know the fate of four killed in the Turkish state's 1994 bombing of avillage near Cizre, in their 327th weekly sit-in in the city of Şırnak province.

The Saturday Mothers (DayikênŞemiyê) gathered to repeat their demand for "justice" for enforced disappearances, unsolved murders and deaths in police custody in Cizre and across the country, bearing photographs of the lost and carrying carnations.

This week, the action called attention to the unsolved deaths of Leylaİregür, her four-month-old baby, her husband AhmetGeran and Selametİregür, who was about to join the family in an upcoming wedding. In 1994, the Turkish army bombed the village of Çağlayan (Kurdish name Saxê), killing all four.

Hatice İregür told the story of her daughter Leylaİregür.

"When my daughter was shot dead, she was pregnant. My daughter-in-law-to-be went to my daughter's house for a visit. She was there with her four-month baby, who we hadn't even given a name yet.

"The state's war planes rained bombs on the house," said Hatice. "They destroyed my family. I will be following this case until the end of the world. The state killed my children and grandchildren."

The mothers ended their action with a five-minute sit-in.

Party of Democratic Regions (DBP) and Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) executives, Human Rights Association (IHD) executives, KURDİ-DER, Peace Mothers Assembly, MEYA-DER, union representatives and many Cizre locals joined the action.
