JINHA

 SULAYMANIYAH – A man has shot and killed his 20-year-old wife in the region of Shahrizor, near the city of Sulaymaniyah.

There has been an increase in femicides in the Federal Kurdistan Region lately. On Thursday evening, in the wake of the shooting, the man was taken into custody by police. The suspect claims that he shot his wife B.E.H. with four bullets by accident.
