QAMIŞLO – In Ari Nursery in the Rojava canton of Cizîrê, education in three languages aims to provide children with a social environment.

The Cizîrê Canton Women's Ministry and the Rojava Free Women's Foundation contributed to the opening of the multilingual nursery in the town of Qudurbeg, near Qamişlo.

WelidaRodu, one of the teachers at the nursery, explained the multilingual principle of the nursery, which serves children in the town between the ages of four and six.

"We have Arabic, Kurdish and Assyrian children here," she said. "We give them all the same education; we don't see any differences. We give instruction in three languages, so that all the children can learn easily."
