HÊWLÊR -Viyan Daxil, Êzîdî and Iraqi MP, reported that Daesh gang members currently hold around 4,000 Êzîdî women in conditions of violent captivity.
Daesh gang members kidnapped thousands of Êzidis since last August, in their assault on the town of Shengal.
“According to our information, currently 5,422 Êzidi people are being held by ISIS gangs, among them about 4,000 women,” said Viyan. She said the group has used the women as "sex slaves" and treated them with extreme violence.
Viyan called on the Iraqi central government to take all necessary measures to rescue the Êzidi women.
