EFRÎN – Turkish soldiers shot and killed a mother of three at the border between Rojava and Turkey yesterday.

The woman, a 35-year-old mother of four named NarîmaHesenMistefa, was gathering fodder near the border village of Dêrsewan when Turkish soldiers opened fire on her, according to reports from the news agency ANHA.

Narîma died from a bullet wound to the head. The bullet was from a sniper rifle. Turkish soldiers have slain women near the border before, notably Kader Ortakaya, the university student who was attempting to cross to join the YPJ.
