NEWS CENTER –A 28-year-old man knifed to death a 25-year-old women in front of spectators' eyes in a bar in Buenos Aires yesterday evening.

The 28-year-old man was having a conversation with the 25-year-old woman, who was his girlfriend, in a bar in the Puerto Madero neighborhood of Buenos Aires when he pulled out a knife and attacked. After Brazil and Ecuador passed laws recognizing femicide as a crime in its own right, Argentine women are angry about the government's lack of action against femicide. According to the Adriana MariselZambrano Femicide Observatory's most recent statistics, a woman is slain in the country every 35 hours.
