18 Êzidîs escape Daesh

DUHOK – 18 Êzidî citizens reached safety in Duhok yesterday after escaping Daesh captivity, according to Hisen Kuru of the Federal Kurdistan Government's office that aids Êzidî women escaping Daesh captivity.
Around 4,000 Êzidî women are currently in Daesh captivity, according to the most recent figures provided by Êzidî Iraqi parliamentarian Vian Dakhil.
The 18 Êzidîs, among them five women, seven children and seven men, reached Duhok yesterday, where they were referred to the Duhok Hospital. After they are seen in the hospital, the Federal Kurdistan Government will place them in refugee camps.
