AMED – Parliamentarians from the Federal Kurdistan Region paid a visit to the Peoples' Democratic Party in Diyarbakır, where they had traveled for the weekend's Kobanê Reconstruction Conference.

The PMs included Evar Ibrahim from the Goran Movement; Ali Halo from the Kurdistan Democratic Party; and SalihFaqî from the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan. They met with HDP parliamentary candidates FeleknasUca and NesrinHilalŞanlı, along with local HDP activists.

"The HDP is the voice of all oppressed and denied people, not just the Kurds," said Feleknas. "To destroy the unity of the Kurdish people, they divided Kurdistan into four parts. Even their false borders couldn't stop our unity."

Ali Halo, speaking on behalf of the delegation, declared their support for the HDP.

"Kurdish unity is crucial for the future of the Middle East," said Ali. "The HDP's success is our success."
