MUĞLA – Ali Rıza Y. killed his wife, Menekşe Y., yesterday. Menekşe was the 115th woman killed in Turkey in the first five months of 2015.

Menekşe was the mother of two children. Her husband Ali Rıza smothered her to death in her sleep at 5 a.m. early in the morning yesterday. He turned himself in later that day.
