AMED – The first polls opened in Diyarbakır province show the HDP with 90% of the vote.
The polling station at Hürriyet Primary School, one of the first to be counted, has 259 votes for the HDP, 41 for the AKP, 14 for Hüda-Par and one for Hak Par.
The polling station at Kazım Karabekir High School has the HDP at 291, AKP at 33, CHP at 2, MHP with one vote and Saadet with one vote.
Several previously AKP areas have gone almost entirely over to the HDP, including the paramilitary-controlled village of Perîşane, with 236 of 250 voters voting HDP. In the Tepe neighborhood, birthplace of AKP Agriculture and Livestock, the HDP has 1,487 and the AKP 205 votes, although the neighborhood has never gone to a Kurdish political party in this ratio.
