NEWS CENTER – The YPJ/YPG have secured control of the Akçakale border gate between Syria and Turkey, according to reports from the front from news agency ANHA.

The YPJ/YPG and Liwa al-Tahrir forces (allied with the Free Syrian Army) took control of the border gate yesterday at around 5:40 p.m., according to an ANHA reporter located in the operation area. The border gate was a key position for Daesh.
