NEWS CENTER – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that Daesh has massacred at least 3,000 people in Syria in “executions” in one year.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR)’s report on Daesh activity in the year since it was declared shows that Daesh executed over 3,000 people in Syria over the past year, the majority of them civilians. 86 of those executed were women and 74 of them children.

Nearly half of the civilians executed belonged to the Arab Sunni al-Shaitat tribe. The death toll included over 200 civilians who Daesh killed in Kobanê this past week. SOHR also reported that Daesh executed 143 of its own members.
