AMED - The governor of Diyarbakır province has announced a curfew in one district and military zones across the province.
Yesterday, the governor of Diyarbakır province announced a curfew in the district of Lice in order to protect "the people's security of life and property." Later that day, the office declared 20 regions bordering the towns of Silvan, Lice, Kulp and Dicle to be military zones forbidden to civilians. The "security zones" will be in effect from August 20 to September 5.
