MAHMUR-  After the death of her father, her uncle's son be married by force, Sarya Agiri. She told the story of extending the life from Agri to Mahmur. Sarya with her daughter started a new life and said "Due to My husband's insult every day, I decided to escape with my unborn my baby. Because,my husband asking traditional woman's model, i couldn't accept. So i escaped from Agri and refuge in guerilla movement. After giving birth to my daughter in the mountains, I made a new life and settled to Mahmur."

Women in the region as well as around the world, there is the awareness of being in a life dominated by men continues to struggle. Women in male-dominated social order without being aware of a subordinate. Sarya, man's idea of the women role against the woman, which is an example of the struggle of life told her story. Sarya said "My uncle, he forced his son married me as the first duty of fatherhood. After getting married, from my husband every day I saw the violence. Could not stand to this situation and do something. So I chosen to escape and refuge in guerilla movement and gave birth to my daughter in the mountains."

'Forced marriage, was the first duty of fatherhood'

Sarya after the death of her father, her uncle said he wanted to fatherhood and she said "The first t duty of my uncle's fatherhood forced me to marry his son.Although I never meant to, my uncle's son to marry with me. I will never get used to my husband.I did not feel like my husband. My husband was insulted and beat me every day.with him to live in the same environment was torture for me, imposed by the life of me, I saw it as hell."Sarya social impositions of being a "duty of Women"never what cannot accept the said, 3 months pregnant with her ​​daughter escaped towards from Agri to Hewler that process yet and said “Every day i hear the insults exhausted. My daughter was with me and escaped for my daughter. Her better and to live a life free, I decided to escape and i went to the federal region of Kurdistan. Rejected the traditional woman model and refuge guerrilla movement. My husband did not come after me. Maybe he have tried to find me but I do not know. Rid of him day, my life began again, my daughter brought up freely.”.

“Got rid of the traditional woman model”

Sarya, after a period of time in the ranks of the PKK decided to keep the home with her daughter, she said. “I live in a small village daughter ecological living environment wanted to create. So I settled Mahmur  and  made my own house. The villagers helped me. I'm so happy right now in my house a little soil. I am grateful to the public since Mahmur’s public suffered. They struggled a lot for in have their such a beautiful place. Thanks to them the moment I got rid of the traditional woman model.”. Sarya, her daughter  Viyan sent to school at Mahmur, she said  “My daughter is learning the history of Kurdish and Kurdish culture. I will not allow to accept its obligations feminine society imposed on us. If I can afford for my daughter, and the courage of these challenges, it will do my best to not fall into this trap.”.

'My mother suffered a lot for me'

Sarya said “First of all Viyan is an individual, and now in very good condition. I tell all I know. She also teaches me new concepts learned. We became friends with each other. Every day is a new day to start insulting the hearing, rather than starting the day by learning new information here. Now we are very happy to have left behind nine years.”. Viyan to her father who did not know, however, that her mother did not want one suffering for it and Viyan said “I'm doing home with my mom at here. We are living together and i am going to kurdish school. This place is very nice. My mother suffered a lot for me. I will not embarrass her.”and said farewell to us.
