ÊLIH - In the Kurdish town of Batman, Turkey, eyewitnesses reported that police executed a civilian.

Police and military attacks continue in Northern Kurdistan (in Turkey). Last night, one police was killed and another wounded in an attack in the city of Batman, in Turkey. Eyewitnesses reported that immediately after the attack, police executed a civilian in the street. Another individual was arrested, while a third fled the scene.

Police blockaded the neighborhood and began house raids. One of the arrested is charged with giving shelter to the wounded resident.
