HAMBURG - Women are taking a boat trip in Hamburg for peace and democratic autonomy, led by Rojbin Women’s Assembly

Rojbin Women’s Assembly made a written statement.

“Women are in action for peace and democratic autonomy! Let’s stop the fascism of the AKP and ISIS,” read their statement. They stated that they would take a boat trip and hold demonstrations on September 23. They called all women to join their demonstration.

“The army of Turkey occupies new places and commits new massacres every day in Northern Kurdistan. We wake up every day to news of new deaths, new people injured and new rapes. We are saying, ‘Enough!’ Let’s strengthen solidarity with local communities, especially women and children who are hurt by war, oppression and forced migration policy. We also salute the women who struggle for peace and women’s freedom and take a place in construction of democratic autonomy in Rojava and Northern Kurdistan,” said Rojbin Women’s Assembly.
