MÊRDÎN - The one day curfew in Derik was declared yesterday. The Derik District Governorship protracted the curfew till 14:00 p.m today but the curfew has been protracted again.

The curfew was expected to lift at 17:00 p.m yesterday as stated but it was protracted to 12:00 today but at 12:00 it has been protracted until further notice. The curfew has been protracted three times until now.

On the other hand, there are not electricity, water and no access the internet in eight neighborhoods of the district. It is reported that there are the sound of explosions and heavy weapons. All people in the neighborhoods are keeping watch against attack.
