MÊRDÎN - The resistances of people are continuing against the curfew which was declared November 25. The district is under the attacks of artilleries. Still the electricity and water are cut in the Derik.

The police and special forces are still attacking the neighborhoods of Derik and the resistances of people are still continuing in seventh day of curfew. The police and special forces are attacking especially the neighborhoods Cevizpınar, Dağ, Küçükpınar, Zeytinpınar and Kale. The people are keeping watch under the leadership of women.

Three citizens have been detained so far by the police raid in the morning. Mehmet Ali Bahçeci, Mehmet Bahçeci and Şehmuz Ata have been detained in the neighborhood Tepedağ. According to reports received, the police raid is still continuing.

İbrahim Poyraz,his mother Hamdiye Poyraz and Hamdullah Dölek had been detained yesterday. Hamdiye Poyraz was released but İbrahim Poyraz and Hamdullah Dölek are still interrogated.

'Everyone should give support the resistance of Derik '

Abdulkerim Erdem,Derik Municipal Co-Chair, said, " The houses in Dağ are being attacked by artilleries. Derik is now under blockade. Everyone should give support the resistance of Derik. Abdulkerim also pointed out thet they are lacking in infant formula.
