MÊRDÎN- The gendarmerie attacked the Derik Cultural Association members who wanted to enter Derik to protest the curfew, declared November 25. 5 people were detained by gendarmerie.

The Derik Cultural Association members who came from different cities, wanted to enter the city to support the resistance of people in the curfew which has being continued for 7 days. The group was prevented by gendarmerie at the entrance of city. The gendarmerie attacked the group including HDP Diyarbakır MP Çağlar Demirel with tear-gases. Sedat Kaya, Cihan Güneş, Selahattin Özüçalışır, Yusuf Utma and Tayyar Korkmaz have been detained by gendarmerie.
