AMED - The curfew was lifted in Sur last nigth but it is being continued in practice.

The curfew was lifted after 9 days in Sur last night at 23:00. After the announcement of the lifted the curfew, the people marched in Sur and they shouted slogan ' Viva the resistance of Sur'. The people are trying to go inside the neighborhoods but the polices have stoped them and they say ' the blockade is still continuing, you can not go inside the neighborhoods'.

The statement of the District Governorship; The curfew was declared on December 2 in the neighborhoods Cevatpaşa, Fatihpaşa, Dabanoğlu, Hasırlı, Cemal Yılmaz,Savaş and the Street of Gazi to ensure the public order and the safety of life and property of our citizens. We have lifted the curfew on December 10 at 23:00 until further notice.
