AMED - After the funeral ceremony of Serhat Doğan who was killed in Sur was not allowed, the mass started to march. The police attacked the mass with real bullets, tear gas and water cannon.

The curfew has been imposed in Sur for 23 days. Serhat Doğan was killed during the curfew. Serhat’s body was taken from Gazi Yaşargil Education and Research Hospital. Hundreds of people who gathered in Koşuyolu Park began to march towards Bağlar district of Diyarbakır after the funeral ceremony was not allowed. The mass shouted the slogans such as ‘Martyrs are immortal’, ‘The PKK is people, people are here’ and ‘Viva the resistance of Sur’. The police attacked the mass on the road of İskan Evleri. The police attacked the mass with real bullets,tear gas and water cannon. The police began to detain the people.
