ISTANBUL - Filor Uluk Benli who is creater of "Tie a cheesecloth for peace" project is calling people tie a cheesecloth for peace and brotherhood.The project which is led by a Armenian woman who is taking action for solving Kurdish issue , took great attention in all parts of country. People who has different origins including Armenian,Assyrian,Turkish,Kurdish,Arabic they wrote their peace messages to the cheesecloths and shared in electronic media.Now, she is expanding projects area and she is preparing to call peace with going to Ankara in front of the TBMM(Parliament) with people who are coming from different places.

In Turkey because of the Kurdish issue the number of those who lost their lives has increased steadily.52 years old Filor Uluk Benli is a child of a Armenian famly who emigrated to Istanbul from Yozgat , created the ’ Tie a cheesecloth for peace’ project and called people for tying a cheesecloth for peace and brotherhood. This project took great attention in all parts of country. People who has different origins including Armenian,Assyrian,Turkish,Kurdish,Arabic they wrote their peace messages to the cheesecloths and shared in electronic media.Now, she is expanding projects area and she is preparing to call peace with going to Ankara in front of the TBMM(Parliament) with people who are coming from different places.

Peace message in mother tongue !

52 years old Filor Uluk Benli wants to build a bridge between this two communities as an Armenian women in Turkey and she mentioned that she started her project “Tie a cheesecloth for peace” last year in September. Filor mentioned that numbers of cheesecloths are changing every moment and she said that " I want to call people from here with you . I want from the people who are sensitive just take a cheesecloth and it will be just take their 5 minutes. Everyone should write in their mother tongue with their first and last names and city that they live and sign it then they can take it's picture and send us .

‘In our geography east is ready to peace’

Before ‘tie a cheesecloth for peace’ project we talked with people from different political sides and etnics and discuss the project and we didn’t want to get together with any political organization said Filor Uluk Benli. We want to continue on our way to an independent and impartial. For this reason we are getting positive feedback from the north and west side of Turkey.East of Turkey is already ready to peace for this reason mostly this region is support us more, Filor said.

‘We don’t want to send our children to war’

‘Peace will came true with people’s willpower not with deputies from parliament . We will get together in all cities of Turkey and we will walk to the TBMM , we will show our stability of peace .I believe in peace. As a woman, the most effective call for peace that I can do in the society is for our creativity, our innate creativity, we shouldn’t send our children to war’ , said Filor Uluk Benli .
