İZMİR- The Alevis started a three-day hunger strike in İzmir to react the massacres in the cities of Kurdistan.

Izmir Democratic Alevi Association (İ-DAD), Alevi Bektashi Federation Izmir Components and Alevi Youth Association started a three-day hunger strike in the Narlıdere Cemevi to give out a sound to the massacres in the cities of Kurdistan. Beside of Alevi citizens, the political parties and NGO representatives in İzmir gave support the hunger strike. Erdal Sefer made the press statement on behalf of Alevis citizens before starting the hunger strike.

"As Alevis people, we started the hunger strike to give out a sound against the massacres in the cities of Kurdistan.We never give up to want live in a light life against the darkness,a life of brotherhood, equality,freedom and democracy in our land and we will never. We know that our common struggle will end this war." said Erdal Sefer.

The hunger strike was started after the press statement.
