ŞIRNEX – In the town of Cizre, where martial law has entered its 27th day, Rahime Göral (18) has been seriously wounded by a piece of shrapnel to her abdomen as tanks bombard the town with heavy artillery.

Heavy artillery and tank assaults continue on areas of the town of Cizre that have declared self-government. Tank fire has wounded another citizen in the Nur neighborhood. 18-year-old Rahime Göral was sitting in her garden when a piece of shrapnel struck her abdominal area, seriously wounding her.

Rahime’s family has carried her inside the house. The family is currently awaiting an ambulance.
