One journalist and 12 women detained in İzmir

İZMİR - Police attacked the action of Women's Initiative for Peace (BİKG) in İzmir in order to make a voice against the massacres in Kurdistan and the reporter of Evrensel Newspaper and 12 women were detained by police.
The members of İzmir BİKG organized an action at the Bornova Metro Stops to protest the massacres in Kurdistan. Police attacked the women and they detained 12 women and Evrensel Newspaper's reporter Eda Aktaş. It was learned that the women were taken to Konak Security Branch in İzmir.
