WAN -13 people lost their life in the raid to a house by special forces in Edremit in the morning. The Governorship announced '12 members of terror' and one police but the witnesses stated that there were children and youths(aged 17-25) in the house and 8 of them were civilians. Shotting in the head of 12 people by a single bullet confirms the allegations that they were executed.

Special forces organised a raid to a two-story house in the Yeni neighborhood of Edremit district of Van in the morning. According the report received from the neighborhood residents,the raid was held in the morning at 05:00 and it continued for 2 hours.The police blockaded the neighborhood during the raid. 2 hours after the raid,many ambulances went to the scene.

About the special forces's raid, the Governorship in Van announced that '12 members of terror' and one police lost their life and 2 police have been wounded.
The bodies of 12 people were taken to Van Yüzüncü Yıl University Dursun Odabaşı Medical Center.It was reported that 12 bodies belong to the young people aged between 17-25. 11 young people were shot in the head and just one of them was shot in the belly. Being shot in the head rises the question 'Did they be executed?'. Meanwhile the local witnesses stated that 8 of the youth are civilians and 4 of them are the fighters of the HPG.

One police who lost his life and 2 police who are wounded were taken to Van Regional Training and Research Hospital. The hospital has been blockaded by special forces.

Van Yüzüncü Yıl University Dursun Odabaşı Medical Center has been also blockaded and it is not allowed accessing the patients.

A committee including the Van Bar Association lawyers, Bedia Özgökçe and Lezgin Botan -the HDP MPs- and the members of IHD(Human Rights Association) made a statement in front of Van Yüzüncü Yıl University Dursun Odabaşı Medical Center. Lezgin Botan- the HDP MPs- stated that the young people were shot in the head. Lezgin noted that it brought to mind the allegations of executions and she said the lawyers will follow the autopsy. After the statement, the committee went to the house where 12 people were killed to examine on-site. But the MPs and lawyers are not allowed to come close the scene under the colour of 'The prosecutor has not arrived the scene'.
