MÊRDÎN – Police detained three women yesterday evening in the town of Derik.

In the Derik district of Mardin province, state forces in armored vehicles surrounded Ahmet Kaya Art Park and detained three women walking in the park, Melihe Kıran, Tuğba Dündar and Şükran Aksoy. The women are being held in the Derik police chief’s office. The reason for their detention has not been learned.
