ŞIRNEX - One of the 23 wounded in the basement passed away in Cizre, under martial law under the name of "curfew." State forces have continued to shell the Cudi and Sur neighborhoods.

When Turkish state forces launched an attack in the besieged town of Cizre six days ago, 28 people were wounded. The group took refuge in the basement of a house, which has become the target of heavy state assaults since then. Five of the wounded succumbed to their wounds before today. The 23 wounded waited for the ambulance for six days.

According to reports received, one of the 23 wounded could not be saved. The identity of the person is not known. With this death, the death toll rises to six in the basement.

The onslaught of state forces has continued in the Cudi and Sur neighborhoods of Cizre. Meanwhile, police and soldiers forcibly entered houses in the Dicle and Şah neighborhoods. As reported, soldiers have transformed houses on Kobane Avenue into military quarters.

In additional, Kerem Uçar and Nezir Timurtaş, municipal officers, were taken into custody yesterday. They were reportedly tortured. They were sent to court and have been jailed, allegedly for "being members of a terrorist organisation."
