ŞIRNEX - JINHA reporters Dilan Karamanoğlu and Aysel Işık went to Şırnak to cover news. They were attacked by masked special forces. They battered our reporters and targetted opening fire on them.

State forces organized an attack on the Bahçelievler, Dicle and Yenimahalle neighborhoods of Şırnak. Violents clashes began between state forces and YPS/ YPS-JIN. State forces tried to enter the neighbourhoods by using artillery. The members of YPS/ YPS-JIN turned the attacks. One child named Zehra Çevik has been wounded in the leg. She was taken to Şırnak State Hospital. Heavily wounded Mehmet Sıddık Tekmen passed away in the hospital. Our reporters Dilan Karamonoğlu and Aysel Işık went to Şırnak State Hospital to take more information about the citizen died. Our reporters were exposed to special forces attacks. Special forces attacked with kick to Dilan. After Aysel and Dilan entered the emergency department, special forces opened fire on the emergency department by targetting our reporters. Fortunately, our reporters and citizens escaped without wounded by chance.
