İSTANBUL - Pınar Türk, speaker of the Socialist Women's Council in Istanbul (SKM) has been taken into custody.

Women from across Turkey came to Diyarbakır to hold 'vigil for life' upon a call of Women's Initiative for Peace (BİKG) to protest ongoing attacks on Kurdistan cities. Women started off from Diyarbakır to Istanbul yesterday. Their vehicles were stopped by state forces. State forces took Pınar Türk, speaker of the Socialist Women's Council in Istanbul (SKM), into custody.
