ANKARA - Association of Lawyers for Freedom (ÖHD) emphasized that European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) and Turkey's Constitutional Court (AYM) are guilty of Cizre massacre by rejecting the demand of interim measure for wounded in basement.

Association of Lawyers for Freedom (ÖHD) central Office made a written statement concerning Cizre massacre and said "All of us are guilty". The statement reads; "Dozens of people were killed in Cizre. Isolation and censors always are used like a curtain to close the power's black decisions. Most of people trapped in Cizre basements were wounded. Dozens of people were massacred despite of all legal, political, democratic and civic initiatives to evacuate them to hospital. Cizre massacre was occured under our eyes. It doesn't matter if 10 or 50 people were killed. That means the offender is not only the murderers. The state, power and authorities are guilty."

On January 26, the lawyers litigated to the Constitutional Court (AYM) for interim measure. However, three days later, the the AYM reponsed "We don't know if the people in basement are wounded or if they are armed. We don't know exactly which address they are," They said they couldn't decide to an interim measure due to the continuing uncertainties."

The statement continues, "We brougt the case to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) after a rejection by Turkey's Constitutional Court. However, the European Court of Human Rights rejected the demand of interim measure and priority for the Cizre wounded on February 2. The ECHR is also guilty of the massacre in Cizre by rejecting the demand of interim measure and priority."
