AMED - As the resistance of Sur has entered into 74th day, the mothers' vigil has continued to retrieve their children's dead bodies from the district for 21 days.
Families whose children were killed in the Sur district of Diyarbakır, have continued a vigil in Sümerpark to retrieve their children from the district for 21 days. Families want the siege and assault be lifted in the district, thus they can retrieve their children's dead bodies. The mothers start the day by hugging of their children's pictures. Mothers said, "They have forced us to live with the dreams of our children."
Mothers said that they would not end the vigil without retrieving their children's bodies.
