ŞIRNEX - The families who lost their children in Cizre said, "You cannot demolish a people by demolishing their homes. We cannot be annihilated. We will follow our children."

Cizre district of Şırnak resisted against the genocide assault for 80 days. The people are healling their wounds. The MPs HDP Faysal Sarıyıldız and Besime Konca and many people visited the families who lost their children in different times in the Yafes neighborhood of Cizre. The families of Hediye Şen, Ramazan İşçi, Hadi Özdal, Abdulmecit Yanık, Harun Barın, Mehmet Emin Bayar and Hasan Tağ hosted their guests by holding their heads high in demolished homes. Faysal Sarıyıldız made a speech there. "We hoped that our children would have been saved. Cizre is wounded by the state's attacks. However, Cizre will heal its wounds and its resistance will be told in Kurdistan. We will overcome these days together."

Hadi Barın, father of Harun Barın, said, "Sorry for our lost. Our youth gave their life for honor. My son is a martyr of Kurdistan. Our head are high. We will never accept this oppression. They killed Harun, but many Harun will take his place."

Ayşe Bayar, mother of Mehmet Emin Bayar, said, "They demolished our homes. They burned our children to death. But we will never surrender. We will never be annihilated. Because, there are many Kurdish youth. If I had 10 children, I would send them to mountain. I will never drop my head. Erdoğan brought Daesh members to Cizre. However, they must know that they cannot annihilate us. We are a people and we will never be annihilated."
