COLEMERG/MÊRDÎN – Siege under the name of “curfew” was declared in the Gever (Yüksekova) district of Hakkari and Nusaybin district of Mardin.

For days, the AKP’s power and media indicated “curfew”, which comes with siege and massacre, would be declared in Gever and Nusaybin. According to statement made by Hakkari Governorship, the siege will go into effect at 10 p.m. on March 13 in Gever. Meanwhile, Mardin Governorship announced that curfew will also go into effect in the Nusaybin district of Mardin, starting at midnight on the morning of March 14. Meanwhile, Hakkari governorship emphasized, “The entrance and exit to the town center are also barred.”

Interior Minister Efkar Ala and authorities of government gave the signal of declaring of “curfew” in two towns.
