People build barricades, ban extended in Bağlar

AMED – After the clashes broke out last night in the Bağlar district of Diyarbakır, the people built barricades. Meanwhile, Bağlar District Governorate has extended the scope of ban.
Last night, clashes broke out and two people were killed in the Bağlar district of Diyarbakır. Bağlar District Governorate announced 24-hour curfew in the Kaynartepe neighborhood of Bağlar starting at 3 a.m. Bağlar District Governorate announced that the ban has been extended to Gürsel, Cemiloğlu and Nukhet Coşkun Avenues and Bağlar Dört Yol. The curfew went into effect at 9 a.m today.
Meanwhile, gunshots had been heard in the morning in Kaynartepe neighborhood. The people built barricades against state forces’ attacks. Many points of the center of city have been closed to enter. The cars and buses have to use Elazığ Avenue. There is a traffic jam in the city. Meanwhile, state forces didn’t allow the shopkeepers open their store on Sunay Avenue.
