AMED - 24-hour curfew has been lifted in the six streets of the Sur district of Diyarbakır.

24-hour curfew which was declared on December 2, 2016, in the Sur district of Diyarbakır, has been lifted in the six streets of the besieged town. The Governor of Sur made a statement and they announced that the curfew has been lifted in the Buzcular , Buzcular 1, Eski Yoğurt Pazarı and Çiftehan streets of Savaş neighborhood; Orta Karataş street and from Arman street to Bıyıklı Mehmet Paşa street of Dabanoğlu neighborhood.

For 108 days, the siege has continued in Sur. Before, the curfew had been lifted in Gazi Avenue and four streets of Cevat Paşa and Dabanoğlu neighborhood.
