COLEMERG - Hundreds of people departed from Van, Başkale and Hakkari to march to Hakkari's besieged Yüksekova district. The people gathered in Yeniköprü area, near Yüksekova, and began to march to Yüksekova.

For 11 days, siege and attacks have continued in the Yüksekova district of Hakkari. Today, hundreds of people departed from Van, Başkale, Hakkari and Şemdinli to Yüksekova to break the siege. The people gathered at Yeniköprü Gendarmerie Check Point and they began to march to Yüksekova by shouting slogan "Long live the resistance of Gever" (Gever; Kurdish name of Yüksekova)
