ŞIRNEX - State forces attacked co-chair of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Selahattin Demirtaş and delegation members who went to visit "basements of savagery" in Cizre, by using water cannon.

Co-chair of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Selahattin Demirtaş and HDP MPs Osman Baydemir, Çağlar Demirel, Ali Atalan, Mehmet Ali Aslan and Dirayet Dilan Taşdemir investigated in "basements savagery" in Cizre. After the investigation, they walked to Nusaybin Avenue with the people to go to HDP office. State forces blockaded the delegation and attacked them with water cannon without warning.

The people responsed the attack by shouting the slogan of "We'll win resisting" Selahattin Demirtaş was especially targeted in the attack. He had to pass to HDP office with his car due to ongoing attacks of state forces.
