WAN - Our reporter Rojda Oğuz has been released from Van M Type Closed Prison.

The police organised raids to KYK(student dormitory) and many students houses on January 5 in Van. Our reporter Rojda Oğuz, student in Van Yüzüncü Yıl University, and 16 students had been taken into custody. Then Rojda was sent to the Court to be arrested. After taking her testimony in the night court, Rojda was jailed and sent to Van M Type Closed Prison. Her lawyer Sebahattin Kaya gave the petition of objection to the Court last week. Rojda has been released with interlocutory decision of the court.

It is expected that Rojda will be released from Van M Type Closed Prison this evening.
