COLEMERG - As resistance has entered in the 23rd day in the Yüksekova (Kurdish: Gever) district of Hakkari, clashes restarted in the morning.

Resistance has continued against genocidal attacks in the Yüksekova (Gever) district of Hakkari. The clashes restarted in the morning in the town. After the silence which contined all night, special forces tried to enter the Cumhuriyet neighborhood. Thereupon, the Civil Defense Unit (YPS)/ Women's Civil Defense Unit (YPS-JIN) members turned the attacks and a clash broke out between special forces and the YPS/YPS-JIN members. After the clash, special forces fell back from the neighborhood.

Meanwhile, two violent explosions occurred in the Orman neighborhood in the morning. No information has been obtained about the reason of the explosions.

82 civilians forced to leave their houses in Cumhuriyet neighborhood due to ongoing bombardment several days ago. State forces forced a group civilian to leave their houses in the neighborhood again. According to reports, the civilians were taken to Selahattin Eyyubi Cultural Center which is used as "concentration center".
