The resistance of self-government has continued in the Yüksekova district of Hakkari for 32 days. As the attacks towards the Cumhuriyet and Güngör neighborhoods have been intensified, many armored vehicles and tanks have been sent to the neighborhoods. The explosion sounds have been heard from place to place in the town.

Dize, Orman, Yeşildere, Eski Kışla and Mezarlık neighborhoods have under bombardment for weeks. State forces have entered the houses in the neighborhoods and burned them. Black smoke rises from the town. State forces have demolished many houses with armored diggers and construction equipments.

Meanwhile, the blockade of armored vehicles has continued in the Mexsûdava (Turkish name: Kuruköy) village, in the south of the Cumhuriyet neighborhood. Many gendarmes and special operations police were sent to village with three armored buses.
