AMED – The bodies of Erhan Keskin, Erdal Tekin and Welat Bilen those who were killed in Sur, have been identified after months by DNA tests.

As 24-hour curfew has continued in the Sur district of Diyarbakır more than four months, the vigil of families, who lost their children in Sur, has continued in the Tigris Euphrates Cultural Center. The families have waited to take their children’s bodies for more than three months. Three dead bodies, which were retrieved from Sur on March 30 and sent to the morgue in Elazığ, have been identified by DNA tests. Identified bodies belong to Erhan Keskin, Erdal Tekin and Welat Bilen.

Meanwhile, as the siege hasn’t been lifted in the district despite the state’s announcement “Operation was ended”, one more dead body was retrieved from the town. The body was taken to the morgue of Gazi Yaşargil Training and Research Hospital.
