The state's policies of assimilation, forced displacing, pillage and murderous on Kurdish people can be seen clearly in Kurdistan lands. 251 citizens were killed by state forces during the around-the-clock shoot-to-kill curfew declared by the state. Meanwhile, pregnant women had miscarriage due to state forces' attacks. No information has been obtained about how many babies died in this period. The mothers those who lost their unborn babies told us what they faced and said that they would never forget what happened and they would continue their struggle until whoever is the responsible are brought to book.

Mother of seven Zekiye Eren said, "I was four months pregnant when the ban was declared in Cizre. I had stayed in my home for 20 days in the ban. I had to pass another neighborhood when the clashes had intensified. I went to my father's home with my children. One night, the clashes became violent. I found myself in blood when I woke up. We asked ambulance. However, the ambulance couldn't enter the streets due to violent clashes. They put me in a blanket and carried me until main road with a white flag. I had a miscarriage when I was at hospital. My baby died. If there wasn't war in Cizre, I wouldn't lose my baby."

Zekiye was dischanged from hospital after she stayed in hospital a day. "Police didn't allow me to go my home. They didn't allow me to saty in hospital. We didn't know where we can go. If there wasn't the state, my baby would be alive now. Stop the war. I don't want other mothers experience what I did." said Zekiye.

Ayşe Sevgin also had a miscarriage during the curfew. Ayşe said, "I had a miscarriage when I was seven months pregnant. I had gone for control continuous. My baby's health was very good. We had to go to the house of my father in law after we run short of food during curfew. We went to Cudi neighborhood by carrying white flag. Police opened fire on us when I was opening the door. I jumped at my children to save them. Then, I tried to stand up but I couldn't. I understood there was something wrong with my baby. My mother called an ambulance. We went to hospital and the doctor told me that my baby died. I had an operation. I lost my baby because I was scared."

The nurse brought another dead baby when Ayşe was dischanged from hospital. Ayşe said, "They gave me my baby and another baby. I asked them this baby is whose. The nurse told me that a woman had a miscarriage and left her dead baby in the hospital. She asked me to take the baby and buried the baby with my baby. First, I didn't accept that. But then, I decided to take the dead baby. We couldn't buried them due to they attacked the neighborhood with tanks and mortar. I left them in a condolence home. I haven't known where they are now. I'll never forget what I faced."
