ALEPPO- Leyla Murad stands with her three children in the struggle of the resistance against Daesh gangs in Rojava. She becomes a part of resistance by joining to the Civilian Defense Force (HPC).

Leyla Murad fights Daesh gangs with her children in Rojava. She joined to the Civilian Defense Force (HPC). She has continued to be a part of resistance. Leyla is from Aleppo’s Şêx Meqsûd neighborhood. Her all family members fight Daesh gangs. Her son fights with the People's Protection Units (YPG), her two daughters fight with the Women's Protection Units and her husband named Ebu Cudi (nom de guerre Faiq Murad) fights the Civilian Defense Force (HPC). Leyla joined the HPC after mobilization was declared on February 20 and she fought Daesh gangs. Then, she returned to her children. Leyla said, “We resisted to the end. Şêx Meqsûd gets free life. We sacrifice our life for freedom. Our part is the path to freedom of the YPG and YPJ.”
